I din't speak of a external camera, but of virtual cams, in that case the OBS Studio virtual camera.

(We don't want to discuss the rather ridiculous fact here, that the other issue with the non selectable virtual cameras on macOS is not fixed by Microsoft since last summer and that macOS users have to disable the code signing of the Teams app as a workaround.)ġ. I opened this new thread because I think that this is at least one new issue introduced with the current 1. Others say, that none of their virtual cams work and show a black image when selected. But when I change the camera to a working one and switch back to the OBS virtual cam, they see the last picture of the other (working) cam frozen. For them it seems as if I have my camera disabled. In my case I (and at least one colleague) get a working preview for the virtual cam of OBS Studio, but other people cannot see my image in a meeting or call. Some people using one of the workarounds that make virtual cameras reappear in the camera select of Teams have the new problem that all or at least some virtual cameras don't show an image when selected.

Hi, inside the thread Microsoft Teams Mac OS client is not recognizing external cameras after updating to version 1.4. there is currently a discussion about a new problem with the current Teams app version 1. And also the workarounds to make virtual cameras selectable seems to be not needed anymore.

Update : With Teams version 1.1 for macOS the problem is solved for me and my OBS Studio virtual camera is transmitted again.
